Converting SDLTM to TMX


This short article explains the steps for Converting SDLTM to TMX without need of SDL Trados.


We often get Trados TM’s from the translators and want to convert them to TMX using Studio.

Please follow the steps below:

  1. Unzip the file to your machine.
  2. Click on “Convert SDLTM”.
  3. Browse to the TM from your computer.
  4. That’s it, your TMX will be in the same location as your original SDL TM.
  5. You can use that to update the TM in WordBee.
